Timber framed deck, dock or access promenades constructed from wood or metal joist framing, traditionally surfaced with wood, composite, plastic or aluminum decking, but here using 24” or 30" O.C. spans on 2 1/2” minimum width framing member overlaid with a structural Deck Plank secured to framing with stainless steel fastener and screw, as a walkable surface without finish or over-coated with compatible colored finishes and/or grit texture.

S16: Broadcast Grit A textured surface friction, color, natural or pattern The Deck Plank structural floor is finished with a 2-part epoxy-like resin with a broadcast or incorporated grit and/or colorant.

Conditions

C7: High Wind Uplift wind or hurricane zone requires screw, glue assembly. Season or geographical wind conditions and/or physical height of the assembly above sea level along with architectural conditions, require special assembly considerations.

C12: Weak Bearing Rooftop has limited or low load conditions. Most old buildings before 1970 were not created for rooftop living conditions and therefor may require special structural considerations.
